Does John Edwards’ Blatant Hypocrisy Bother Democratic Primary Voters?

I’ve said it once, and I’ll say it again: Does John Edwards’ “Two America’s” Poverty message resonate with his party’s primary voters?
I ask the question in light of his 2006 speech about poverty in front of a college audience for which he charged $50,000. Then there are the $400 haircuts, the $500,000 he garnered for work done for a Hedge Fund, his Taj Majal residence…etc.
How many people embraced his incredibly lame and incredulous Hedge Fund explanation that he performed the work to study the effects of financial markets effect on poverty?
Has this man no shame? But more importantly, how long will he be able to maintain this ruse?
Not only is Edwards’ judgment truly suspect, but he has handed his opponents a sledge hammer with which to pound him in any primary contest, never mind a general election against the Republican candidate.
