Multiculturalism on the run in Australia?
PRIME Minister John Howard used a citizenship ceremony in Canberra today to remind immigrants of the need to embrace Australian values and to learn English
Fancy that. How audacious!
Although his comments were not unexpected, contrast Howard’s posture on multiculturalism with the Tower of Babel syndrome that has overtaken the British Isles and much of Europe.
We can only hope that Australian common sense will work its way across the Pacific to our shores.
