Yesterday, Bill Clinton accused the Obama campaign of playing the race card against him. How then, do you explain this?

This outrageous denial — right up there with the very best of Clinton lore (“I did not have sex with that woman…”) — is sure to supply endless grist for the mill for those who see ulterior motives for Bubba’s prevarications, mendacity and unhinged behavior on the campaign trail. Does he really want his wife to win with all the attendant risks that she might indeed surpass his legacy? Or, has he recently suffered a traumatic head injury? Recall his clearly inauspicious and similarly inexplicable resuscitation of the Bosnian sniper story. For those who believe Bill Clinton is still of sound mind, the only rational, sane explanation, to paraphrase Michelle Malkin, is that Bill Clinton must be working for the Obama campaign…
